With a proven history of successfully completing and integrating acquisitions, our client is currently entering their next growth phase focusing on both organic growth and additional acquisitions. Our client has over 30 years of trading history, generating an annual turnover of approx. £8m, and with steady profits and a strong balance sheet, they are able to offer sellers a stable and secure route to exit.

SEARCH REQUIREMENT

Our client is seeking company owners who are either at the stage of planning their retirement and want to begin a steady and structured exit via the sale of their business, or who operate smaller businesses that would benefit from becoming part of a larger group.

Previous acquisitions completed have allowed the sellers to release the equity built up within their business, whilst gradually reducing their involvement to ensure a timely payment schedule and a successful integration.

• General air and ocean freight ideal, niche verticals of interest with the exception of perishables.
• Located ideally in the South East region of the UK, within close proximity to Heathrow airport, although nationwide would be considered.
• A relocation of the business into our client’s offices would be possible and increase profitability.
• Turnover in the region of £1m - £5m, although larger businesses will also be considered.
• Asset light businesses preferred.
• A broad client spread without too much reliance on single clients preferred.
